We count on Washington house to be our getaway. They never fail to deliver. The buildings are reminiscent of days past, but the amenities are state of the art. The staff... warm, friendly and seriously committed to your having an enjoyable stay. 17 years (and counting) we have been celebrating our anniversary with the Washington house "family" and we look forward to many more years!
We have been going to the Washington House the same weekend in December for the last 9 years. You can not find a better B&B anywhere. The staff is attentive and friendly and every year we see the same people. The place really makes you feel welcome!

My wife and I enjoyed our special birthday getaway in this splendid, beautifully restored, and immaculately maintained B&B hotel. Every turn offers unique decorative pleasure, with a sense of warm hospitality that blends country charm with Victorian beauty. The breakfast buffet of abundant variety, including fresh pastries and juices (fresh OJ!) and egg casserole or hot dish, will carry you long into the day. The old town Cedarburg street is a quaint walk just made for relaxation and pleasure shopping. The place really cannot be topped in all of the Milwaukee region. A must return!

Your wine and cheese hour was very relaxing. The room was comfortable; I enjoyed the wood floors and jacuzzi tub. The complimentary breakfast was flavorful with a wonderful selection for vegetarians as well as carnivores. Your dining room is a great place to simply sit and relax between outings.
It's always a great place to go when I want to escape the world and recharge. I check in, partake of the wine and cheese, go to my room, relax a bit, go out to get a bite to eat, then run a whirlpool bath and soak away all the cares of the world! Then I sleep in the softest linens and awake to my breakfast delivered to my room. I relax some more, maybe take another bath and I'm ready to rejoin the human race, relaxed, refreshed and rejuvenated. For me, it's really an R and R, not a B and B.
